TOO DRUNK TO FISH is an acoustic duo and/or a four piece band that plays a lot of Jimmy Buffett (our hero) and other music that crowds know and love.  The band started out in 1999 with the lineup of Dave Van Roekel on bass and vocals and Scott Jendersee (Big Scott Allen) on acoustic guitar and vocals. Brad "The Bassman" Burkholder joined the group in 2004 and retired from the band in 2020. Scott has carried on with the help of Corey Ward on electric guitar, along with Dave Van Roekel on bass guitar and Seth Curl on drums.

 

We've gotten to play a lot of cool places for awesome people over the years, including the College World Series and Baconfest at The Old Mattress Factory in Omaha, The Barefoot Bar in Lake Okoboji, plus numerous parties, weddings and bar gigs.

 

We've launched this site to let THE FISH FAITHFUL know where we will be on our ongoing "TOO DRUNK TO TOUR."  We're also looking to book more dates, so you'll find contact information here, too.  We're based out of Sioux Falls, SD, but we're always willing to play somewhere warmer.
